Tube Shaft Model

  • Allows for a lighter overall spear shaft which produces a faster flying spear requiring less power force to propel it unlike the traditional solid tempered steel rod spears. A SlipShaft™ spear also improves the accuracy of the firing device by substantially lowering the recoil force needed each time the spear gun is fired. Example; a traditional solid tempered steel spear measuring 55" in length with a diameter of 9/32" weighs about 432 grams compared to a SlipShaft™ spear with the same measurements weighs in at a mere 227 grams, a difference of 205 grams which makes the SlipShaft™ spear 47.45% lighter.

  • Significantly decreases the sound produced by the friction of the shaft against the rail/track on the spear gun when fired.

  • Allows for production of a more balanced spear shaft which improves the accuracy and range of the spear.

  • Allows for production of a seamless and aerodynamic/hydrodynamic spear due to the tag/keeper line being enclosed within the spear thus decreasing drag.

  • Increases protection of the spear shaft due to the hollow shaft being able to slip/slide/feed along the tag/keeper line away from the secured struggling targeted subject.

  • Allows the tag/keeper line to provide the adequate tension needed for keeping our uniquely designed break-away spearhead snug/flush on the front-end of the spear while the firing device is in transport, safe or firing modes. No extra part is needed to provide this function.

  • Allows for the body section of the spear to be custom colored for a functional or non-functional final finish. By applying epoxy or other protective coatings on the spear shaft, the body section can be fortified and strengthened.

  • Allows for a friction decreasing material or lubrication to be inserted into the hollow shaft as well as in all channel cut/bore out sections of the spear allowing for the tag/keeper line to slide more freely throughout all its paths.

Solid Steel Rod Model

  • Allows SlipShaft™ technology to be applied to solid steel shaft spears for divers who prefer traditional spear shaft weights. We produce our own complete custom shaft systems or our technology can be applied to current steel shafts on the market today with  a few of our components and a little machine shop work.

  • Increases protection of the spear shaft due to the shaft being able to slip/slide/feed along the tag/keeper line away from the secured struggling targeted subject.

  • Improves the tension setup provided by the tag/keeper line to hold our uniquely designed break-away spear head on the shaft's front-end by using a revolutionary design. This revolutionary design allows routing of the tag/keeper line in an entirely different way than most are use to and ensures our uniquely designed break-away head seats snug and flush on the front-end so it will not separate unexpectedly or when it is not suppose to and significantly reduces wobble.

  • Allows the shaft to not serve as an integral part of the overall tag/keeper line restraint system thus reducing points for failure.

Pole Spear :: KT Break-away Head to Pole Spear Adapter

  • Allows SlipShaft™ technology to be applied to 3-Prong Hawaii Pole Spears.

  • Increases protection of the Pole Spear by two means; 1. The Pole Spear is able to slip/slide/feed along the leash/tether line away from the secured struggling targeted subject.

  • Improves the tension setup provided by the leash/tether line to hold our uniquely designed KT Break-away Head on the shaft's front-end by using a revolutionary design. This revolutionary design allows routing of the leash/tether line in an entirely different way than most are use to and ensures our uniquely designed KT Break-away Head seats snug and flush on the front-end so it will not separate unexpectedly or when it is not suppose to.

  • Allows the Pole Spear to not serve as an integral part of the overall leash/tether line restraint system thus reducing points for failure.

Uniquely Designed Break-away Heads

  • Flopper Break-away Head- Improves the tension setup provided by the tag/keeper line to hold our uniquely designed Flopper Break-away spear head on the shaft's front-end by using a revolutionary design. This revolutionary design allows routing of the tag/keeper line in an entirely different way than most are use to and ensures our uniquely designed break-away head seats snug and flush on the front-end so it will not separate unexpectedly or when it is not suppose to and significantly reduces wobble. Flopper Head maybe used with either model of SlipShaft™.

  • KT Break-away Head (2-Flopper)- A double flopper barb break-away head design idea by Kurt Taguma has inspired us to produce this prototype which works really well and is proven to be the most reliable & consistent as far as "breaking-away" from the spear shaft & providing "stopping functionality" whether setup in a full SlipShaft™ system or in a conventional way like most break-away heads on the market today. Divers will be able to use our KT Break-away Heads on most popular size shafts (9/32" & 5/16" and their metric counter parts) along with our uniquely designed adapter in a threaded or pinned style configuration. The KT Break-away Head along with our uniquely designed Front-end Adapter can be rigged on most spear guns & shafts for full SlipShaft™ system setup or in a conventional way like most break-away heads on the market today.

Revolutionary Designed Front-end Adapter

  • Our Revolutionary Designed Front-end Adapter allows routing of the tag/keeper line in an entirely different way than most are use to and ensures our uniquely designed break-away head seats snug and flush on the front-end so it will not separate unexpectedly or when it is not suppose to and significantly reduces wobble. Note, our front-end design may also be applied directly onto the spear shaft. The KT Break-away Head along with our uniquely designed Front-end Adapter can be rigged on most spear guns & shafts for full SlipShaft™ system setup or in a conventional way like most break-away heads on the market today.

Uniquely Designed Back-end Adapter for Tube Shaft Model only

  • Our uniquely designed Back-end Adapter serves multiple functions in the overall SlipShaft™ technology for our Tube Shaft Model. 1) it provides a path for the tag/keeper line to maintain the slip/slide feature, 2) it adapts the tube shaft body to the back-end, 3) it provides an exit point for the tag/keeper line out of the tube shaft body, 4) provides hookups for power bands and 5) it provides the notch for the spear gun's trigger/spear shaft locking mechanism.
